Yesterday you were here In your bed telling me stories Sharing your life Letting me hold you I was happy and thinking of the tomorrows we would share
Today I am not there My heart heavy with worries Cut off from you And I am unhappy and thinking of my tomorrows with fear
Tomorrow you won’t be here I will face the fact You’re not coming back I want to be hopeful in my thinking And no longer shower my tomorrows with tears
